If My Words Could Speak

I decided last month that I would go on a bit of my own restart in the month of August.  I made this decision b/c there has been some major changes and challenges in my life and since most of these changes would start in August — which is the 8th month — which 8 stands for new beginnings. I felt what better time.  Now I will not going to DETAILS just to have something to write about …. but I would like to share — be transparent to “Inspire” someone else.  I could not post my thoughts on yesterday b/c I didn’t have access to the internet … With that being said today’s entry would be a bit of Word Power!

In the process of me moving to the next level I realized that I was carrying A LOT of unnecessary THINGS! We hold on to things b/c of their tie to our emotions — soul tie.  I had two piles —  the “get rid of pile” and the “I am keeping this pile!” Even through the process of elimination I still based what I would keep on my emotional need of it unbeknownst to myself. Then as I started bagging up the “get rid of items”  something started tugging at me as if I was forgetting something.  I sat for a moment until I figured it out — I needed to go back through the “I am keeping this pile!” and throw MOST of that stuff out as well. It dawned on me that I wasn’t really getting rid of anything but only rearranging the things to fit along the ride and this would NOT be productive b/c to much BAGGAGE and the ship will sink or the plane will NOT be able to go in FLIGHT!

Moving to the next level is hard enough without bringing unneeded baggage along. Begin with the process of eliminating those things that keeps us from moving. This process is both a spiritual AND natural process. We must lean not to our own understanding or emotions and rely on Christ to do this.

NO preparation NO elevation NO FLIGHT!
