Today wasn’t such a great day :-(…. well everything looked good in the natural sense. However, it was on the inside where it was raining. I know I can’t be the only person on the planet that when placed in a great place of influence or significance you “feel” insignificant.

Now, when we look at the surface of this word it can reveal layers of a person’s self-esteem. However, if we look at it from God’s perspective, because of sin NONE of us are worth being considered. There is NONE good no not ONE!

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

We are only made right, good, righteous by accepting and submitting to our Saviour & Lord Jesus Christ.. and even that wasn’t something we thought up! The word of God says, “A man’s gift will make room for him and place him before great men” (Proverbs 18:16).

So, when what God has given you (gifts & talents) places you before people of influence and great opportunity there is a moment of inadequacy (or humility) that happens, which should remind you of your true purpose for being in that position…

Which is to represent Him and to be a witness for Him and NOT to heap it unto your own lust!

Stay humble (small, unimportant) in order for Him to be seen! Because in our weakness, He is made strong!

2 Corinthians 12:9-11

⁹ But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may [b]pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
